Vision for Quality
Following feedback from patients, the public, GPs and the voluntary and community sector, NHS Warwickshire North Clinical Commissioning Group developed it's Vision for Quality, a strategy that outlines how the CCG will work over the next three years to improve local services.
The CCG shared its plans for the future of health services with members of the public and patient representatives on 31 October 2013, launching the Vision for Quality strategy.
The Vision for Quality focuses of six main themes for developing future services:
- Urgent and emergency care
- Mental Health
- Frailty and end of life
- Cardio-vascular disease
The CCG is committed to fully involving patients, carers and patient representatives in the development of high quality services for the future, and has been organising a range of events and meetings to make sure that patient experiences are heard.
A Vision for Quality workshop for patients and carers was held on Thursday 30th January 2014. Discussions were held around the six priority areas, and those attending shared their experiences of services and their ideas for the future with CCG clinicians. These experiences, views and suggestions are being used to inform discussions to improve services.
We are now looking at how we can develop proposals for these services into the future.
