Have your say on GP services
In Warwickshire North there are currently a number of General Practices which are procured through an Alternative Medical Service Contract. These contracts are time-limited, and we have four practices whose current contracts will expire on March 2020. These practices are:
- Satis House Medical Practice
- Camphill GP Led Health Centre
- The Chaucer Surgery
- Leicester Road Surgery
This means that we need to consider how general medical services will be provided when these contracts expires, to ensure that we are commissioning high quality services for our entire population, which make the best use of the resources that we have, both now and in the future.

Healthwatch Coventry want your views on the future of the NHS
The Healthwatch Coventry and Warwickshire are gathering ideas about what changes should be made to local NHS services to make them better. What do you think will help people to live healthier lives, have control of their health and wellbeing and make support better?
Your views count - take part in this survey by visiting
Warwickshire Living Well with Dementia Survey 2019
Warwickshire County Council and The Better Health, Better Care, Better Value Partnership is reviewing our local ‘Living Well with Dementia’ Strategy and the services and support available to people with dementia, their carers and families.
As part of this review we want to hear from a wide range of people about what they feel is important about access to services and support, what is working well and what could be improved. This information will help us to develop local dementia services and support and to help review our current dementia strategy
You can find out more and put forward your views by:

The opportunities listed below are currently being planned. More information, including how you can take part, will be available soon.
Understanding how we localise the NHS Long Term Plan
The recently published NHS long term plan sets out an agenda for the NHS for the next ten years to make the NHS better. The plan shows how the NHS will spend additional funding and is based on what the public and NHS staff think the NHS needs, following a national engagement programme.
We will need to work with patients, the public, partners and providers to understand how we implement the long term plan locally.
Planned care services
We will soon be conducting engagement around planned care services across Coventry and Warwickshire. We want to speak with patients, the public, partners and providers to hear about their experience of planned care services, understand what they think works well and discuss what they think needs to improve.
Maternity and paediatric services - part two
Last year we completed a large-scale engagement project around maternity and paediatric services. Next, we want to test our understanding of the feedback we gained, and our thoughts on next steps with mothers, mothers to be, families and carers to ensure future maternity and paediatric services are designed with their needs at the heart.
Ways to get involved
You can get involved with our work in many ways, such as:
- Taking part in workshops or focus groups
- Completing surveys
- Sharing your views on services
- Attending our Annual General Meeting
- Sending us an email, giving us a ring or speaking to us on social media
On some occasions, we will creat specialised involvement groups to work on particular projects for a set period of time.
Examples of where we have done this before:
- Creation of the Brownsover Patient Advisory Forum, which took part in the procurement of a new provider of medical services for the Brownsover Medical Centre
- Stroke patient involvement panel, which takes part in, influences and shapes the ongoing stroke reconfiguration programme
If you want to be involved or would like any more information on any of these opportunities, please contact us:
